Buntingford Brewery 92 Squadron, a 4.5% bitter with much malty goodness followed by subtle hops, bottled and brewed 25 miles south of Cambridge, that has found its way into local Tesco supermarkets.
It’s named after a 1948 steam locomotive that was rescued from a scrapyard to ride again, and is now back off the rails awaiting restoration. The loco was named after the Spitfire Squadron that was first into action on Battle of Britain day and once flew in the skies over Buntingford.
Buntingford also brew the fantastic hoppy Silent Night.
This one is good and… Its Friday!
