    North Leeds Charity Beer Festival
    Fri 27 Sat 28 April 2012

  2. The North Leeds Charity Beer festival raised £2600 for charity – not bad for a first attempt. We will be announcing details of the 2013 festival in due course.

  3. The Northampton beer festival at Delapre Abbey IS going ahead now and being put on by the council with support from the Wig & Pen public house!

  4. Nice one. Try and make the friday night when our band, The 2 Tones are headlining!!

  5. Details of the Northampton County Beer Festival at Delapre 2015 can be found on the facebook site, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Northampton-County-Beer-Festival-at-Delapre/1426418547668454?fref=ts

  6. Swavesey’s second annual Cider festival starts on the 20th of July next week: https://www.facebook.com/events/225283897946871/

We have 20 local ciders to sample all from small independent producers. Who will come out on top? This year you will have the opportunity to vote for your festival favourite.

All are welcome at this earlier, warmer, more summery celebration of the apple and pear. We are also serving wine and soft drinks and to complement the ciders we also plan to have local pork pies, sausages and vegitarian tarts.

Come along with friends, we will be open from Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd July doors will be open all day at the weekend and from 5pm Thursday and Friday.

Best of all as the Green is only a short stroll from the Swavesey stop on the guided bus you can leave the car at home and enjoy what we hope will be a sunny and relaxed drink.

This is a charity event to generate funds for an ongoing maintenance programme for the pavilion. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
